Intellectual Property Policy

Last Updated: February 2026

At Touboukou, we hold a deep respect for the creative efforts of artists, designers, and brand owners. We are committed to fostering a marketplace that upholds the highest standards of integrity, originality, and legal compliance. This Intellectual Property (IP) Policy outlines our commitment to protecting copyrights, trademarks, and publicity rights, and provides a clear procedure for rights owners to report any concerns.

  1. OUR COMMITMENT TO IP PROTECTION

Touboukou complies with all applicable intellectual property laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We strictly prohibit the listing, sale, or display of items that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties. This includes unauthorized reproductions, “knock-offs,” or any content that misleads consumers regarding the origin of a product.

  1. COPYRIGHT PROTECTION

Copyright law protects original works of authorship, including but not limited to:

  • Visual Media: Photographs, custom illustrations, graphic designs, and video content.
  • Written Content: Product descriptions, blog posts, and website copy.
  • Digital Assets: Software code and layout designs.

All content hosted on touboukou.com is the exclusive property of Touboukou or is used with permission from the respective owners. Any unauthorized duplication, modification, or distribution of our content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

  1. TRADEMARKS & BRAND INTEGRITY

Trademarks include brand names, logos, symbols, and slogans that identify the source of goods or services.

  • Touboukou Assets: Our brand name, logo, and unique taglines are protected under trademark law.
  • Third-Party Marks: Any third-party trademarks appearing on our site are the property of their respective owners. We do not use third-party marks in a way that implies a false endorsement or affiliation.
  1. PUBLICITY & PERSONAL IDENTITY RIGHTS

We recognize the right of individuals to control the commercial use of their name, image, and likeness. Touboukou does not permit the use of a person’s identity for marketing or sales purposes without express legal consent. We strive to ensure that all human-centric imagery on our platform is sourced ethically and legally.

  1. HOW TO REPORT AN INFRINGEMENT (TAKEDOWN NOTICE)
